Dr. Stacy Wilson
What is your educational and veterinary medicine background?
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Miami University in Ohio. I graduated from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
What made you decide to become a veterinarian?
Growing up, I was always drawn to science and anything related to biology, and I always knew I wanted to work with animals. My plan when I started college was to become a marine biologist, but while helping with research abroad in Scotland I met a veterinarian who worked with both marine mammals and cats and dogs. After working with him, I was fascinated with veterinary medicine and knew that was what I wanted to do.
